The Domaine de Laguille is a “Vin de Pays,” a term which means “country wine” in French. A Vin de Pays brings together various grapes from the region to showcase the best the area can produce. In this case, Domaine de Laguille highlights the Côtes de Gascogne, one of the most exciting growing regions in France. This blend of Ugni Blanc (Trebbiano in Italy) and Colombard does justice to the region. The nose is light yet pleasant with citrus and a hint of floral notes. A crisp and refreshing palate also provokes those citrus flavors which help make the wine fruity and bold.
