This wine has light, inviting aromas of citrus fruit with good structure reminiscent of honeydew melons. It has a remarkable intensity of flavor—with an acidity that is balanced by a slight residual sugar that leaves a clean and mild aftertaste. It can be excellent as a stand alone aperitif and can also be enjoyed with a salad course, soft cheeses and even a light dessert. The Classic Brut is certainly a wine appropriate to special occasions but it is affordable—and therefore also appropriate—everyday!
