The sampling process included four daily tasting sessions by four committees composed of three tasters each, evaluating a total of 3,676 samples from 253 million litres of wine. Confidence in the classification of “Very Good” is further strengthened when one realizes that other wine regions rely on barely 100 samples to classify a vintage.
